The raised height is way easier on my old lab's neck, and the wooden stand stays put even when she digs in. I just wipe the bowls out and they're clean in seconds.

My golden retriever used to knock his water bowl across the floor every single day, but the weighted wooden base on this one keeps it planted. Cleaning it takes about ten seconds since the bowls just lift right out of the stand.

My back thanks me every time I fill these — the raised wooden stand puts the bowls at the perfect height so there's no more bending down. Cleanup's a breeze too, just pull the stainless bowls out and rinse.
