The mesh panels give my pup plenty of airflow and he actually naps in it instead of whining. The shoulder strap sits comfortably even after a long walk through the park.

The mesh panels really do keep the air moving in there, my dog actually settled down and napped instead of panting the whole walk. The shoulder strap sits comfortably even after an hour, and the oxford fabric has already brushed off a muddy paw print.

Took my 12-pound pup on a three-hour ferry ride in this and the mesh panels kept him from getting stuffy the whole trip. The shoulder strap actually stays put instead of sliding around, which I didn't expect at this price. He settled in and napped, so I'd say it passed the test.
