Flew with my 9 lb cat under the seat and nobody batted an eye. The back pouch held my phone, wallet, and treats so I didn't have to dig through my backpack at security. Collapsed it flat in the hotel closet once we landed, which I didn't expect to actually use.

The collapsible design is what sold me—it folds flat enough to stash in the closet between trips, which my old hard-sided carrier never did. The cylindrical shape gave my cat noticeably more room to turn around, and the big back pouch swallowed her leash and a bag of treats.

Took this on a weekend trip and my cat actually stretched out instead of curling into a ball the whole flight. It folds flat enough to shove in the overhead bin once we landed, which I didn't expect to appreciate so much. The back pouch held my phone and her leash without bulging.
